Pookino Jude Muleke Opens Ggombolola Cup in Buddu
The Ssaza Chief, Pookino Jude Muleke, officially opened the competition in company of various kingdom dignitaries and those from the central government including Deputy Pookino, Yiga Painento; Mumyuka Kalungu, Nsimbe Charles; Mutuba II Bukulula, Kiddu Ssali; Mutuba X Kyamulibwa, Kabunga Charles and Mayor Lukaaya Tc, Tamale Charles among others.
In his remarks, he appreciated the value of sport in the promotion of discipline and was delighted that the Ggombolola Cup will go a long way in promoting unity at the Ggombolola level.
Zziwa Stephen, the team manager for Ssaza Buddu, was confident that the tournament will produce players who will beef up the team ahead of the 2024 Masaza Cup, adding that they will do all it takes to maintain Buddu’s status as a trailblazer even in the organization of Pookino Cup.
